Privacy policy
Applies to this website. Last reviewed August 2026.
Short version: we collect what you type into our forms so we can help your pet, we do not sell it, and we do not send you marketing you did not ask for.
What this site collects
- What you enter in a form. Appointment requests, new client intake, records requests, job applications, and general contact messages. That means your name and contact details, your pet's details, and whatever you tell us about why you are getting in touch.
- Basic usage data, if analytics is enabled: pages viewed, roughly where in the world the visit came from, what kind of device, and which buttons get used. This is aggregate and is not used to identify you.
What we do with it
- Answer you, book your appointment, or handle your request.
- Add it to your pet's record in our practice management system if you become or already are a client.
- Understand which parts of this site are useful so we can improve them.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your information. Not to anyone, for any price.
- We do not share your pet's medical records with a third party without your authorisation. Veterinary records are confidential under California law.
- We do not send marketing email to people who only filled in a contact form.
Who else touches it
Running a website means using other companies' tools. The ones in play here:
- Our form provider, which receives form submissions and delivers them to the clinic's email.
- Google Analytics, if enabled, for aggregate site usage.
- Google Maps, only if you choose to load a map. We deliberately do not load map embeds until you click, partly for speed and partly so Google is not told about your visit unless you ask for a map.
- Our online pharmacy and client portal, which are separate services with their own privacy policies. When you follow those links you are on their site, under their terms.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number, we may use it to reach you about your pet's care, appointments, and reminders. Reply STOP to any message to opt out of automated texts. We do not use it for marketing.
Your choices
- Ask us what we hold about you, and we will tell you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete information that we are not required to keep. Veterinary medical records have legally mandated retention periods, so those we keep.
- Opt out of analytics using your browser's Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control setting, or an ad blocker.
To make any of these requests, call (760) 373-7387 or use the contact form.
Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on the page rather than made quietly.
