Wellness Exams & Vaccinations
The cheapest vet visit is the one that catches a problem early. A yearly exam, twice yearly for seniors, is how we find trouble while it is still small and inexpensive.
What a wellness visit covers
- Nose-to-tail physical exam
- Core vaccinations (rabies, DHPP for dogs, FVRCP for cats) and lifestyle vaccines where they make sense
- Parasite prevention: fleas, ticks, and heartworm
- Weight, diet, and dental check
- Microchipping, quick, and it brings lost desert dogs home
Puppies and kittens
New pet? Bring them in early. We will set up the vaccine series, talk deworming, and answer the 2 AM questions before they happen.
Seniors
Older pets hide problems well. Twice-yearly exams and baseline lab work catch kidney, thyroid, and heart changes while there is still plenty we can do.
